When Jeff was brought in to produce the Salt & Pepper Radio Show for CHEZ 106 he made new friends, and when the Salt & Pepper Theatre Company was offered a show on CHRO TV they called to ask him if he wanted to produce and direct, which he did. With Mike Cormier as Head Writer, Rob Eastland as Chief Thespian, and Jeff Green as director, producer and editor, the show mixed lo-rent special effects, silly characters, wacky puppets and redubbed archival footage into a colourful half hour that aired on Sunday mornings. The program went on to 4 seasons and won a Canpro Award (Canadian Independent Television Producers) for Best Children's Program.
