It is possible to see the 3D effect on the thumbnails above by using a technique called "Free Fusion".  This is essentially done the same way you view "stereograms", those chaotic graphics that reveal 3D objects when you cross your eyes a bit.  Look at one set of images above (easiest might be "3D Cheer!"), cross your eyes slightly and let the two images overlap.  Once they have merged try to bring the 3D image into focus.
